Refund Policy
Refund Policy
At Master Trades Association, we're committed to a fair and transparent process for all our clients seeking trade qualifications through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). This policy outlines the specific circumstances under which a refund for our assessment services will be provided.
Our Commitment to Fair Assessment
Our primary goal is to help you achieve the qualification you deserve based on your skills and experience. The fees paid cover the costs associated with the thorough assessment of your evidence by our qualified industry experts.
Eligibility for a Refund
A full refund of the assessment fee paid to Master Trades Association will be issued under the following specific condition:
Determination of Ineligibility: If, after you have submitted all the required evidence requested by our assessment team, Master Trades Association formally determines that you do not meet the necessary criteria and are therefore not eligible for the specific trade qualification you applied for.
Conditions for Refund Eligibility
To be eligible for a refund based on the determination of ineligibility, you must have:
Submitted All Requested Evidence: Provided our assessors with the complete portfolio of evidence as outlined during your enrolment and assessment process. This includes documents, photos, videos, references, and any other specific items requested.
Completed the Assessment Process: Engaged with the assessment process up to the point where our team can make a final, informed decision about your eligibility based on the evidence provided.
Circumstances Where Refunds Are Not Provided
It's important to understand that refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
Change of Mind: If you decide to withdraw from the assessment process or choose not to pursue the qualification for personal reasons after enrolling or part-way through the assessment. Our fees cover the administrative and assessment work undertaken from the point of enrolment.
Failure to Provide Evidence: If you fail to submit the required evidence, or do not provide sufficient evidence for our assessors to make a determination, a refund will not be applicable. The assessment outcome in this instance is due to incomplete submission, not ineligibility based on submitted evidence.
Non-Engagement: If you cease communication or fail to engage with the assessment process without formally withdrawing.
How Refunds Are Processed
If Master Trades Association determines you are not eligible for the qualification after reviewing all your submitted evidence, we will notify you in writing. The refund process will then be initiated automatically by our accounts team. Refunds will typically be processed within 10-15 business days via the original payment method where possible.
